Products and technologies by the leading iGaming platform provider, BtoBet, will now be available in Nigeria also, since the brand has made a partnership deal with operators “Vbetnow” and “Konfambet.” With a focus on delivering superb playing experience to its users, the Nigerian operators will be able to offer a diverse portfolio.
Its offerings are including local and international…
… sports betting with live sports events, online and live casino, jackpots and a range of special bets.
CEO of BtoBet’s Certified Partner for Africa (STM Gaming), Alessandro Pizzolotto, expressed his satisfaction at the rapid expansion of the company’s White Label Partnership Program on the African continent.
He believes that the emerging nature of the market requires a local presence and deep knowledge of all its intricacies – be it player preferences or payment gateway options.
“Being a market based on a set of unique circumstances from an infrastructural and regulatory aspect, many operators have tended to make the mistake to side-line the importance of having in-depth knowledge of the local industry.
This has seen the demise of numerous operators, even major ones, who are accustomed to a wholly different scenario in more mature markets,” Sabrina Solda, CMO of BtoBet said.
She added that through its WLP Program, the company has circumvented these difficulties…
… providing local operators with adaptable technology and the expertise, which is the key to their success.
It seems that the brand has serious expanding plans, considering that they recently made a deal with Argentinian brand GuazuBet to strengthen its position in the Latin America market.
The regulated African gambling market did have some growth over the year, especially regarding online gaming…
…but it hasn’t reached its full potential. The main problem remaining the lack of internet coverage in all the countries of the continent.
However…
… some countries are experiencing quite a boom in this area.
Nigeria is currently ranked second place in all of Africa, after Egypt. Regarding the amount of revenues generated from gaming activities between January and October 2018…
… this country had $180 million in revenue, while Egypt thrived and secured a leading place with $286 million in revenue for the same time period.
According to this data, the Nigerian gambling market has once again received global recognition, despite the fact that online gambling is very much a hot topic both in this and other African countries.
In fact…
…there was only one Nigerian online casino launched back in 2013 which is no longer operational. A number of online casinos in the country are actually run by overseas operators that accept Nigerian players.
Nevertheless, the numbers keep growing and more and more global providers are extending their operations to the markets of this continent.
The partnership deal between reputable BtoBet and operators, “Vbetnow” and “Konfambet,” are just one positive example that the online gaming market in Nigeria is getting more and more attractive.

It’s nice to see that the African market is getting more stable, at least regarding the gaming business.
